RECOGNITION & RESULTS

NXTGen Quality Solutions was founded by Ian McCabe FCQI, CQP, DipQ. Ians work has been recognised by the Chartered Quality Institute and has also featured in various case studies, professional journals and research publications.
Ian was also responsible for the first company in the Nuclear sector achieving ISO 9001:2015 transition with their third party certification body LRQA. He has hands-on experience overcoming the many challenges facing organisations and individuals who are looking to modernise their approach to quality.

2018 QUALITY ORGANISATION OF THE YEAR

November 2018

Working in conjunction with the team at Oakland Consulting, NXTGen Quality Solutions served as Lead Technical Consultant to global crane manufacturer HIAB, providing advice and guidance to support the organisations successful application for the CQI Quality Organisation of the Year award. HIAB were the first ever recipients of this award.

REVISED CQI COMPETENCY GUIDE & TOOL: ARCHITECT AND AUTHOR

April 2018

In Sept 2017 the CQI commissioned NXTGen to undertake a comprehensive review of the structure and content of both its competency guide and score tool. Together they provide a framework for managing and developing quality professionals’ competencies. The revised framework, published in April 2018 was well received with Stuart Ainsworth of Lloyd’s Register calling it “a fantastic framework to give us legitimacy in the eyes of other professionals”, while David Lloyd of Jaguar Land Rover said it was “a great step forward”.
